Hi! My name is Brian, and I love coffee. Welcome to my website.
I’m Brian Gachichio Karanja: writer, business strategist, and financial modeller. I write and advise on the art and science of building enduring businesses, long-term value investing, and strategies for economic development.
I previously worked for Viktoria Ventures and Esham Park, where I focused on strategy and financial modelling, and helped prepare real estate, infrastructure and energy projects, and startups for investment. I attended undergrad at Strathmore University (Financial Economics), and I’m an M.Phil (Inclusive Innovation) candidate at the University of Cape Town’s graduate school of business.
My goal is to provide out-of-the-box, innovative thinking that leads to bespoke solutions to the business problems I advise on, to produce above-average results.
I take my personal integrity and the integrity of this website very seriously. While I will make mistakes, I will always strive to correct them quickly and publicly, and take active steps to ensure I don’t make similar mistakes in the future.
